My name is Beth. I’m the hands and heart behind LilyGiggle, a maker who believes children’s clothes should feel as good as they look. My work lives at the intersection of art, sewing, and design, shaped by years of creating for real children with big personalities, busy days, and a love of movement.

Every pattern I design is rooted in the everyday moment, the kind found in twirls on the kitchen floor, pockets full of treasures, and clothes that invite play rather than restrict it. I’m drawn to thoughtful details, soft silhouettes, and designs that feel special without being fussy.

LilyGiggle began with a pair of tiny shoes and a brand-new walker.

When my daughter took her first steps, I designed her first pair of shoes, and in that small, ordinary moment, something much bigger quietly began. In 2006, I started selling baby and toddler shoes, stitching together practicality and wonder, one tiny sole at a time.

As she grew, so did LilyGiggle. Shoes became dresses. Dresses became collections. Another daughter joined our family, bringing even more color, creativity, and inspiration into our world. By 2010, I was sharing my clothing and accessories on Etsy, and in 2011, I began offering my designs as PDF patterns so others could sew them too.

That’s when everything clicked.

I found my true love in creating designs that don’t just live in my own home, but travel into other homes, other sewing rooms, other stories. Patterns that let makers create clothing for their children, or build small handmade businesses of their own. Clothing that carries both beauty and freedom in its seams.

I’m especially drawn to giving old materials new stories. Many LilyGiggle designs invite the use of recycled and upcycled fabrics, breathing new life into pieces that might otherwise be forgotten. I love experimenting, playing, and sometimes coloring outside the lines, because that’s where the best ideas live.

My hope is to pass on that sense of joy and permission.
The freedom to try.
The courage to experiment.
The delight of creating something beautiful for the children you love.
