As a special bonus I included the pattern and instructions for making the cute little deer applique but don’t let that stop your design imagination. As you can see from the photos there are many ways to embellish this top and tunic…mix up the fabrics, add a flower or two, some pockets or some extra ruffles…have some fun with it!
Afraid of stretch knits? Don’t be! Also included are tips and tricks for working with them…it’s not nearly as difficult as you might think…in fact, this is a great beginner project for working with them.
Please note, though, that the only embellishment instruction that is included is for the DEER APPLIQUE. You can find a pattern for the flowers or additional appliques in my shop. These tops are fabulous even without embellishment, though, especially when you mix up the fabrics that you use.
