My name is Beth and I’m a wife to an amazing artist and a homeschooling, stay at home, mama to 3 with a Fashion degree from SCAD who once upon a time used to work as a clothing designer but fell in love with being with her babies too much to go back to leaving them for so many hours a day. Soooo, now I have a passion for all things crafty as my outlet while I am busy managing a home. My children are my biggest inspiration and I especially enjoy making things for them. I began LilyGiggle a couple of years ago when my daughter was just beginning to walk. I have always been a fan of soft soled shoes on my cruisers and toddlers but I wanted to have something that didn’t get slick on the bottom like my suede bottom ones did. I also wanted to make her some shoes that didn’t look like all of the rest so I set to work researching different materials and drawing up my own patterns. I was thrilled to find the flexible rubberized material that I now use and have put through the test with my own children and many others, now, with very pleasing results. The material is durable enough to be used in making booties for search and rescue dogs to wear to protect their feet from dangerous debris and will keep little feet from the discomfort of hard rocks and other objects they might come across walking around outside.
